Prettiest Small Town In America
I first visited Black Mountain in the summer of 1991 and quickly fell in love with the vibe of this vibrant small mountain town whose streets are dotted with shops, galleries, antique stores, ice cream parlors, craft stores, breweries and unique restaurants. The surrounding mountains are perfect for walking, hiking, mountain biking, camping, fly fishing, and easy day trips to nearby Mt Mitchell, Linville Falls, and Lake Lure.
Check out this great video about Black Mountain produced by the Asheville Convention and Visitors Bureau.
